Chapter 3 S22

Chapter 3 22

So, this comic.

The reality is is that I have been on both sides of this. Things I like have gotten less popular, not enough demand, recalls, and whatever. I have had products I love removed from the shelves for perfectly legitimate to seemingly outlandish reasons. There are times where I have had it where I have handled in a “less than stellar” fashion, or have had staff be extremely rude about circumstances like this.

The customer is kind of a hyperbole, here. Not everyone reacts like this. But the goal here was to show how people can have extreme reactions to little things, and you can have ZERO control over them. You can’t help the customer or “guest,” and they take all the frustration out on you. And even though you aren’t supposed to take it some people make it personal. At least in my experience with customer service and retail, this is a thing that happens. I was just trying to address it with humour.

The long awaited Chapter 3 strip 15

So there is adult language in here that may be triggering to some people. Just a heads up.

comic ch3 15

Sorry this one took so long to get out! Exams, changing work schedules, applying for new work. Guh. Not helping me stay on time. But it is out! And I am going to write more on the post about keeping things up and alive, and what the strip is and will be.

Chapter 3 Strip eleven

Chapter 3 strip 11

YES we got Shelly now too! FINALLY. Though, I have to admit, kinda half assed for a first appearance.  ONLY 1/4 OF HER IS IN THE PANEL!! We will see more of her soon.

This comic seems reminiscent of one of my first.

EDIT: OOPS!!! I was wondering why I didn’t see this one posted. The one on here for a while was next weeks, this is the one for this Wednesday! Soooo… sorry for spoilers? I guess?

Chapter Three: Strip ten, Enter the Creature

Chapter 3 strip 10

FINALLY!! Picasso (Not Pablo) Is in a strip! With the pages and pages I drew for concept art for this bugger, I am mad it has taken so long to for me to get him out in a strip! And, With all my art about him, am I satisfied with how he appears in the strip…? Mostly. It’s hard to draw him consistently, so… hmm.

Also, I said no colour, right? Well, I had to make fun of these billboards. They are EVERY WHERE in my town. The still, of them. They colours that belong in a laser tag maze for a bunch of rampaging fifth graders… I don’t know WHY but these things have been a central part to my community, and my city, I believe, for YEARS. Dorky as all balls, but whatever. I had to use the colours to make it look specifically like the signs I find so weird and fascinating upon reflection, but normal on my day to day commutes.

I can draw The implication made her is I cannot

I always wanted to mini/after thought comics for strips, but I was always so behind on my work (for strips and classes, I never got around to it). And with my luck the first time I attempt some? It has to be while I am dealing with serious computer bullshit. There will be a blog post about serious computer bullshit later to identify the issues here.

Yeah, so, coloured strip, huh? Don’t get used to it. I only meant to colour three specific things., but then the shading looked weird so I ended up… over doing it. As I do. I either go for all or for nada, and it’s a habit that crushes my soul and make things difficult.  Can you guess which we the only original things to be coloured? They definitely have significance here, but will see if that carries.

The way I draw “roses” hasn’t changed since I was 14.
